Why this job matters

ServiceNow is a strategic platform for BT for ITSM journeys and is used for Digital Integration and Experience. The purpose of the role is to produce high-quality code that fully meet the customer or operational requirements, and to ensure that they are architecturally compliant. Specifically, the role is accountable for Coding and configuration of the ServiceNow Platform while enforcing and ensuring best practices are followed.

What you’ll be doing

•    Coding; configuring ; unit testing and deploying the service now application.
•    Integration with other components based on Rest
•    ATF
•    Support deployment activities 
•    Initiate POCs and solve problems with minimal tech debt
•    Code review
•    Mentor younger developers
•    E-bonding development
•    Decide whether each Service design covers the requirements, and delivers a solution that maximizes automation, minimizes manual intervention, and delivers good value for the business.
•    Decide whether each Service design is architecturally compliant, and is in line with our strategic Service architecture roadmap
