Why this job matters

ServiceNow is a strategic platform for BT for ITSM & CSM journeys and is used for Digital Integration and Experience. The purpose of the role is to produce high-quality code that fully meet the customer or operational requirements, and to ensure that they are architecturally compliant. Specifically, the role is accountable for Coding and configuration of the ServiceNow Platform while enforcing and ensuring best practices are followed.

What you’ll be doing

• Coding; configuring; unit testing and deploying the service now application.
• Integration with other components based on Rest
• Support deployment activities 
• Initiate POCs and solve problems with minimal tech debt
• E-bonding development
• Decide whether each Service design covers the requirements, and delivers a solution that maximizes automation, minimizes manual intervention, and delivers good value for the business.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience into ITSM, CSM modules.

Skills and Experience Required

•    Service Now Senior Development experience in one or more modules - ITSM,CSM,CMDB,ITOM,Integrations,Service Portal
•    Experience with Service Now ( 3+ years ) – Mandatory
•    Service Now Certification– Mandatory
•    Experience and knowledge of Service Assurance Domain– Optional
•    Able to confidently deal with ambiguity of requirements, especially in complex/ critical areas – Preferable.
•    Experience and knowledge of the Agile methodologies
