Within Digital Consumer CIO, the Business Performance and Planning team plays a critical role in enabling the delivery of the Digital IT strategy and transformation. We work across Consumer CIO (Chief Information Officer) to assure the realisation of strategic goals, manage our resource base and unit commercialisation as well as facilitate initiative mobilisation, delivery and funding.

What you’ll be doing

  • Produce high quality monthly and quarterly progress reports and communicate progress and risk to a senior audience.
  • Track and monitor realisation of planned benefits via improved delivery and resource management.
  • Support annual IT strategic planning, roadmap and budgeting processes and management.
  • Use insight to make compelling recommendations on how we can drive incremental productivity benefit.
  • Support the drive to hit our strategic goals, and work across units to determine accountability, establish and maintain risk and progress reporting.
  • Support internal delivery and resource initiatives and track benefit realisation of these initiatives.
  • Seek out, identify and drive continuous improvement activities that will help to improve our ways of working and deliver benefits.
  • Champion of transformation and orchestrate delivering on transformation objectives.

Experience you'll have

  • Have experience working across a wide range of teams and stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes
  • Are comfortable creating material for and communicating with senior stakeholders. 
  • Have experience using data and insight to influence change and drive transformation
  • Thrive on collaborating with people to creatively solve business problems and deliver value
  • Have a track record of delivering results when the deliverables were unclear
  • Want to be part of a team that influences how BT delivers for its customers

It would be beneficial, but not essential, if you had:

  • Experience working in a Lean Portfolio Management environment
  • Experience shaping and implementing transformational change in complex environments
