The ESN will replace the existing Airwave network and building upon on EE’s existing 4G network and to provide essential new voice, data services, and critical communications services to 300,000 members of frontline emergency service users.
BT / EE’s Property Team require a new candidate as Acquisition lead on several new Programmes to support our ESN Deployment commitments to the Home Office. The successful candidate will have experience in the telecoms industry in Acquisition, Property and / or Estates functions of RAN Deployment, preferably with knowledge and experience around the 2017 Electronic Communications Code and its evolution within the market. The role will involve a large volume of instructions to manage across multiple suppliers and direct partners across the whole of the UK across a multitude of site types and landlords – including third Parties and neutral host site providers.
The successful candidate will be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent) as a minimum. You may even be required to undergo National Security Vetting (e.g. CTC, SC or NPPV).
What you’ll be doing
- As the leader and primary program management contact for BT/EE's major ESN programs, this role oversees new legal agreements under EE's name and manages site upgrades for high-volume projects, reporting regularly to the Head of Acquisition and Head of Property.
- Managing suppliers and coordinating with the RAN team to drive upgrades and new builds across programs.
- A detailed understanding of program requirements, forecasts, KPIs, and deliverables is essential, with regular, clear reporting to senior leaders on status, risks, issues, and commitments.
- The role plays a key part in shaping delivery strategies, processes, and improvements to overall program timelines.
The skills you’ll need
What we would like to see on your CV
• Experience in managing and directing Tier 1 suppliers within the telecoms industry – ideally with existing relationships across multitude of stakeholders.
• A track record and experience in front-end delivery
• Understanding of data-driven outcomes and expectations around key milestones.
• Evidence of a history of recommending better ways of working and driving process improvements
• Electronic Communications Code (2017), its applications, its evolution and experience with legal escalation where necessary

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
