What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Commercial teams to define the Wholesale marketing plan and support our commercial goals.
  • Effectively manage the execution of marketing campaigns and communication strategies for BT Wholesale Partners, Mobile (MNO & MVNO), and Media Infrastructure divisions.
  • Plan integrated go-to-market strategies for product launches across key channels, including digital, email, social media, industry events, sales enablement, and traditional and mixed media to strengthen BT Wholesale’s market position.
  • Working closely with the Digital team ensure that the Wholesale website content is up to date, effectively promoting our products and services and reflecting our brand positioning.
  • Serve as the custodian for the BT Wholesale brand, developing and delivering effective platforms to increase our First Choice Consideration within the industry, working closely with the wider BT Business and BT Group brand teams.
  • Work closely with the Insights team to ensure relevant customer insights are at the centre of our marketing plan, including managing the Wholesale brand tracker survey and other key industry research and analysis.
  • Define and manage content and thought leadership that can be leveraged in campaigns and PR schedules.
  • Support the development of our partner programme, working alongside the Wholesale Partner and Commercial teams to develop a compelling loyalty strategy, including white-labelled content, promotions, events, and customer engagement.
  • Manage a marketing budget to achieve delivery of our marketing plan across Wholesale, ensuring our ROI targets are met.
  • Maintain and monitor the commercial performance of the marketing plan, analyising performance, leading optimisation and best practice recommendations to maximise ROI.
  • Oversee the performance of external agencies and internal marketing teams, working cross functionally to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Engage in effective stakeholder management, building relationships with the Wholesale LT, Product, Propositions, and Commercial teams to align our strategy, representing marketing and reporting progress against the plan in key trading and go-to-market forums.

Skills and Experience

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop effective customer marketing & engagement strategies.
  • Customer centric thinking: understand customer pain points, needs and preferences to tailor marketing messages
  • Demonstrable experience in managing marketing campaigns, running sophisticated creative campaigns and projects.  
  • Experience in managing high profile customer events, trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Good creative skills and an innovative thinker, keen to propose and enhance communication practices.
  • Manages stakeholders brilliantly with a flair for building rapport and credibility with senior leadership.
  • Great commercial acumen, able to interpret data and challenge decisions based on results.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects, under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to listen effectively, socialise ideas across functions, and unite teams under one vision.
  • A solution oriented and great teammate with a self-start, positive attitude. 

 

Experience you would be expected to have
