What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities

  • Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
  • Plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levels.
  • Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.
  • Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
  • Implementing Monitoring/Reporting/Alerting tool set across Application stack.
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure for DevOps Set up.
  • Identifies opportunities to simplify Infra Operations operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform duties as per project requirements such as security analysis, controls audit and assessment, infrastructure deployment and configuration.
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Mentoring and guiding the team members
  • Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
  • Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

 

Skills required for the job

  • Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.
  • A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies
  • Good working Experience of Linux OS
  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery, preferably with a medium size organisation
  • Good understanding of IT security and Data protection
  • Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology
  • Good knowledge of Citrix and Citrix Metaframe
  • Good understanding of Powershell scripting (Desirable)
  • Exposure to MS SharePoint
  • Experience working on Private and Public Cloud Services
  • Excellent troubleshooting/Debugging skills
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Working with any public cloud DevOps tool set.
  • Working Exp on RDBMS.
