You'll be driving commercials, so you'll need to be good at making complex and conceptual ideas tangible for Enterprise Digital. You will be the expert on customers’ commercial needs and buying patterns, based on market commercial insight and win/loss trading analysis and translate this into how we can better win in the market.
What I'll be doing – your accountabilities?
• Developing complex financial business modelling and delivers/coordinates activities with Commercial, Finance and Channel leads to ensure consultation on case impacts
• Working cross functionally and collaboratively with Digital product owners, Engineering/UI subject matter experts and Channel teams to understand future requirements, roadmaps and impacts on MTP
• Producing and consolidating monthly/quarterly Digital performance results and working closely with SoHo/SME teams in translating backlog items delivered into real-time financial P&L benefits with both visual and quantitative outcomes
• Uses expertise and commercial insights to support and challenge key decisions to drive the right business goals and act as a critical friend to achieve customer led solutions.
• Accountable for SMB & Service owned investment plans. Bridging the knowledge gap between Commercial and Finance and managing various stakeholders needs in understanding their budget constraints, whilst facilitating and removing blockers to drive both operational and financial efficiencies
• Developing strategic digital analytics led processes, focusing on enhancing collaborations with Product/technology and Digital analytics teams in driving optimisations across both Digital web & App stacks with the customer experience at heart
• Lead on creation of digital data hubs and knowledge pools to drive consistent reporting across the channel to provide one source of the truth
• Feeds strategic digital plans/initiatives directly into the planning, props and futures teams planning cycles and communicating plans across other channels to drive a Digital first mindset
• Seeking out opportunities to unlock future business led benefits across the BT SME customer profile, responsible for looking at demand and additional service attach to drive brand retention
• Building investment proposals for Trading, Product Sales and Service teams to deliver new initiatives through all LBGUPS journeys to drive incremental value
Capabilities required for the job:
Essential Experience and Knowledge:
- Business Risk experience
- Digital, Telco, Strategic & Commercial background
Additional:
- Highly competent in business casing opportunities and risk and making decisions through, Investment appraisal & ROI analysis
- Extensive financial background coupled with a financial accreditation (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Good stakeholder management with ability to communicate to all levels
- Uses initiative to identify problem areas and seeks out engagement from relevant stakeholders in finding a solution
