Why this job matters

The Business Development Manager is accountable for early-stage activities and developing and managing the pipeline of projects within the Manufacturing & Resources vertical.

 

You’ll be working with customers with a low percentage wallet share and growing accounts with a significant amount of whitespace opportunity to create a pipeline for growth within Manufacturing & Resources.

What you’ll be doing

•    Recommends pipeline and identifies specific opportunities to be taken forward.
•    Develops long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
•    Makes recommendations on sales opportunities based on qualification and assessment of resources.
•    Feeds into marketing campaigns, such as who do we target and influence.
•    Builds and maintains strong links to Account Managers, benefitting from shared knowledge and aligned aim.
•    Identifies and gains understanding of likely procurement routes and the process around them, including budgeting and sign off process and key stakeholders.
•    Continually learns and develops on the sector including challenges and opportunities to become an expert within the Manufacturing & Resources field.
