Why this Job Matters

The purpose of the role is to bring in Suitable Monitoring & Reporting toolset, Strive for continuous improvement and ensure we have a credible plan to move to Zero Ops and meet the Business requirements, and to ensure that they are architecturally compliant. Specifically, the role is accountable for:

  • Reviewing the current estate and build Automatic Monitoring and Alerting eco-system.
  • Driving architecture vision to create Zero Ops.
  • Collaborating with designers, developers, Ops team and driving improvements
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team’s ways of working, operations and processes.


 

What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities

  • Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
  • Implementing Monitoring/Reporting/Alerting tool set across Application stack.
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure for DevOps Set up.
  • Guide DevOps team that provides tooling and guidelines in technology operations with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
  • Guide the application support team to pick right Monitoring/Reporting/Alerting tools.
  • Lead the implementation of Auto remediation in Application Operations Management.
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Mentoring and guiding the team members
  • Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
  • Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

Skills required for the job

  • Experience in working on DevOps and Monitoring tools e.g JIRA , Jenkins , ELK, Splunk , Dynatrace, App Dynamics
  • Experience working on Private and Public Cloud Services
  • Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java ( 2 or more).
  • Excellent troubleshooting/Debugging skills
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS.
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Working with any public cloud DevOps tool set.
  • Working Exp on RDBMS.
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors will be a plus
