L2 Network Technician

Overview: We are seeking a Network Technician with 1-2 years of experience in managing and resolving LAN, WLAN, WAN, and Security services.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Proven technical ability and troubleshooting skills, including network layer investigation.
• Understanding of various protocols and their usage.
• Experience with User Access Controls, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Active Directory (AD), setting up users, and managing permissions.
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and document procedures and guidelines.
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, MIST, Remedy).
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Technologies/Manufacturers to Manage:

• Routing and Switching:
• Essential experience (1-2 years) with routers and switches from Juniper, Cisco, Teldat, and/or other manufacturers.
• Required certifications: CCNA, JNCIA-Junos.
• Preferred certifications: CCNP, JNCIP.
• Security:
• Valuable experience (1 year) in managing firewalls, proxies, and load balancers (Checkpoint, F5, TrendMicro).
• Preferred certifications: Checkpoint, F5, VPN-SSL remote access (mainly Junos Pulse).
• Voice:
• Valuable experience in PABX and VOIP.
