About the role
The SMB Marketing professional will support the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns within SMB including driving forward the SMB Support proposition. Bringing together content, demand generation and go-to-market activity to generate leads, new contacts, opportunities and revenue to support sales targets, through specific programmes.
The individual in this role will be responsible for executing elements of the SMB segment marketing plan, including both direct and digital marketing, social media, and customer activity.
What you’ll be doing
• Tactical delivery of campaigns, sponsorships and events in the segment, working with agency and internal stakeholders to deploy and report on progress
• Support delivery of segment communications, e.g. newsletters, emails
• Lead on creating new case studies and use cases for industry propositions
• Support the delivery of segment marketing campaigns
• Write, edit, and direct the creation of segment content
• Work with product and partner marketing to launch offers, incentives and new products into the segment teams
• Support day-to-day sales enablement activity and work with relevant teams to ensure segment content is relevant and cascaded
• Attend meetings and strategy sessions with segment sales teams
• Work with digital demand teams to understand the trading levers relevant to campaign activity
• Report regularly to Segment Manager on deliverables, performance and ROI for your activity
What you'll need to succeed
• Able to support in all aspects of the marketing mix, including research, insight, message development, channel delivery and measurement.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across internal and external teams
• Confident in proposing new ideas into segment plan
• Customer centric – supporting the creation of segment programmes to excite and attract new and existing customers
• Highly organised with good project management skills
• Good collaboration skills across various teams to deliver targeted activity into the segment
• Measuring program effectiveness and ROI
