We exist as four centralized teams – Finance, Strategy and Business Services, Human Resources, Legal, Company Secretary and Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Affairs.
Why this job matters
As a Fraud analyst within Group Business Services your responsibilities include mitigating against the risk of fraud & bad debt on mobile products for EE.
You will identify suspicious and/or high risk activity utilising EE systems/manual reports to detect potential fraud cases and carry out accurate risk assessments while taking full responsibility by prioritising workload to meet and exceed your personal objectives.
We’ll need you to act quickly on potential fraud cases, liaise directly with the customer, stakeholder or the relevant department and take appropriate action to minimise the loss of revenue to EE and/or customer.
Skills and experience you’ll need
- Desirable - Fraud/billing experience & sound knowledge of billing/fraud systems
- Excellent understanding of MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, SharePoint.
- Ability to adhere to compliance, policy and process within the Fraud environment.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to quickly analyse information/data attained from external/internal sources to detect/prevent fraudulent activity.
- Problem solving/decision making skills – effective negotiation, influencing & problem solving skills.
- Effective communication & ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and external customers & suppliers.
- Hard working and target driven to achieve and exceed KPIs including a high standard of quality.
- Able to work any shifts within operating hours of Monday – Friday – 6:30am to 09:00 pm
- Able to work 1 weekend in 3 – operating hours Saturday/Sunday 6:30am to 5:15pm

A Few Points To Note:
BT operate a hybrid working policy of 3 days per week in the office so you must be able to commit to that for this location.
