The post holder will be part of a diverse team to deliver secure Logistics services to support the requirements of the Customer and the Market Facing Units

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Ensure timely updates of the Configuration Management Database
  • Carry out stock checks as required (data driven)
  • Ensure ‘Just In Time’ (JIT) approach towards materials and stock management ensuring the business unit only holds equipment which is required and for no longer than needed.
  • Prompt and professional contact response (calls / e-mails / IM / hard copy)
  • Resolving ‘in-life’ issues (faults & service affecting escalations) at 1st point of contact
  • Managing customer events to meet the agreed resolution date
  • Delivering Right First-Time solutions
  • Supporting, at all times, Company policy and best practice in the area of safety & security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Being up to date, understanding & correctly using processes, systems & information sources
  • Flagging barriers that get in the way of doing a great job to Line Managers & Leaders
  • Maximising own attendance & delivery against scheduled tasks
  • Ensure daily monitoring of group mailbox 

Skills We Require Of You:

  • Able to multitask with an attention to detail
  • Ensure that a safe working environment is always maintained.
  • Able to form relationships with all stakeholders as well as maintaining people’s expectations
  • Good logical skills with the ability to find solutions to both physical and technical constraints – ensuring items are stored, recorded and collated in a logical manner.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft office suite. Ability to learn new software systems when required with a positive can-do attitude

What we'd like to see on your CV:

  • Experience of working in a logistics environment.
  • Experience of maintaining a configuration management data.
  • Experience in working mechanical aids.
  • Ability to work with and manage  a number of high profile stakeholders.
  • Management of BT security policy, assurance and compliance.
  • To have a high level of technical expertise on all technologies across all platforms.
  • Delivery of complex technical solutions.

Flexible Working – BT have moved to a hybrid working – you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
