Roles and Responsibilities
- Role involves strong coding and problem-solving skills and development of software systems supporting the BT Network services
- Development in Core Java/J2EE/Spring and web applications
- Development of automation solution for routine/repetitive tasks using tools/Python/Scripting.
- Ability to do deep dive on technical areas and get the best outcome out of technically challenging situations.
- Be an active team member and contribute to technical solution development.
- Work in an Agile team and system.
- Learn and contribute to BT-specific tools, platforms, and standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software development and software systems
- Good understanding of Database such as Oracle, MySql, Postgre and SQL queries
- Programming skill such as Java, Python, react, Java script etc
- Be a strong team player and contribute to software solution development and delivery
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Experience
- Awareness of monitoring and orchestration tools
- Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
