Full time, 3 days a week together in our London hub (flexible 2 days remote wherever)
 

The immediate assignment:


As a Product Design Specialists, you'll orchestrate the creation of new products, propositions, and services for our BT colleagues. You'll wield a substantial degree of autonomy while skilfully balancing a user-centric approach, ensuring consistency in the exceptional digital experiences you create.

 

This is a senior design role which requires expertise in Human-Centred Design methodologies, a keen grasp of cross- disciplinary dynamics user experience, interaction design and innovative. Proficiency in User Research, Product & Content Design is also expected. You'll also bring experience in working with off-the-shelf and third-party products (e.g. Success Factors, Ariba), applying design best practices, evidence-based insights, data-driven strategies, and research to continually elevate our experiences and design decisions.

 

Moreover, we're in search of a design visionary who can actively contribute to our transformative journey in enhancing the colleague experience through the capabilities of GenAI.
 
You'll have the following accountabilities:

 

  • Design Thinking & Expertise: Strong design skills and a deep understanding of design principles, processes, and methodologies. Applying a human-centered, iterative design process to solve complex problems and create user-friendly solutions.
  • Prototyping and Wireframing: Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes to visualize and test design concepts.
  • Visual Design: Creating aesthetically pleasing interfaces aligned to design best practices and digital brand guidelines.
  • Interaction Design: Designing the interactions and behaviors of a product, ensuring it's intuitive and user- friendly.
  • Information Architecture: Structuring and organizing information and content for easy navigation and understanding.
  • Usability Testing: Conducting usability tests to gather user feedback and refine designs accordingly.
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire a team of designers, setting a vision and guiding them to achieve design excellence.
  • Mentorship: Ability to mentor and develop junior designers, fostering their growth and skill development.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to align design strategies with broader business goals and objectives.

 

You'll have the following skills and experience:

Essentials:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as Senior Product Designer/Design Manager (or in similar roles), with a portion of that experience focused on SASS products and colleague facing tooling
  • The ability to take a project from inception to completion, continuously enhancing the customer experience
  • Previous experience working within lean and agile teams.
