What you'll be doing
- Develops and operates effective content management and review practices to assure quality, maintaining a positive colleague experience and optimising content partnerships.
- Completes specialist support activities for learning platforms and technologies, enabling the design and deployment of quality and innovative products and experiences.
- Supports the optimization and enhancement of platforms, including effective implementation of releases and providing advice and support across the community of practice.
- Facilitates communication and collaboration with internal subject matter experts, external suppliers, design and delivery specialists in support of Innovation and Operational Excellence plans.
- Supports in the ongoing evolution of L&D ways of working (systems and processes) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning design and overall function.
- Proactively researches and uses emerging learning practices and technologies to continuously improve design and development practices and their effect on business.
- Supports the planning and prioritisation of activity and resources across the function leveraging agile working practices.
- Can work as part of an agile delivery squad in agile ways of working, supporting the end to end design, build and run of the Learning & development products.
What you’ll be doing
1. Supports Learning & Skills programmes within a functional area ensuring alignment with business strategy, executing on strategies that deliver business impact through strategically sequenced, continuous learning and performance initiatives that optimise performance and sustain targeted behavior change.
2. Assists best practice and innovation to drive the design and delivery of effective training solutions in line with the BT Group's learning strategy.
3. Contributes to high impact, first-quality learning experiences that deliver needed and sustained performance results at speed and scale.
4. Assists relationships across both internal and external resources, ensuring training interventions align to both learner experience and business needs.
5. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within Learning & Skills across the learning function..
6. Managing of local L&D governance and budget management process maintaining relevant trackers and reports, keeping relevant parties updated on aspects relevant to their area(s) of responsibility
7. Driving Quality Assurance to ensure all components of a programme are delivered to relevant standards contributing to recommendations on effectiveness of learning, establishing actions to provide further support.
8. Project management of L&D initiatives, engaging with stakeholders and suppliers as required supporting the overall design and delivery of learning programmes through programme and project controls.

- Learning Design, including Digital: Expert at designing and developing learning interventions using best practice methods, including digital solutions, to create efficient and effective learning experience.
- Learning Evaluation: Defines, measures and interprets learning effectiveness using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Learning Technologies: Expert in Learning Technology best practice to choose and implement appropriate technologies to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

- Data Analysis: Collects and interprets data in order to uncover patterns and trends.
