What you’ll be doing
- Contributes to the design and deployment of quality, innovative and thought-provoking learning interventions to support individual and business performance and enhance colleague experiences across BT Group.
- Facilitates communication and collaboration with internal subject matter experts, external suppliers and Learning & Capability specialists ensuring design solutions are supported by appropriate resource and subject matter expertise.
- Makes recommendation on the best use of existing content and curriculum for any new design requirement to maximise value from existing content offering ahead of designing new.
- Supports in the ongoing evolution of L&D ways of working (systems and processes) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning design and overall function.
- Proactively searches and uses emerging learning practices and technologies to continuously improve design and development practices and their effect on business.
- Curates and builds formal and informal digital learning content to meet local, functional and business needs driving a digital first approach to learning design.
- Can work as part of an agile delivery squad in agile ways of working, supporting the end to end design, build and run of the Learning & development products.
The skills you'll need
- Learning Design, including Digital: Expert at designing and developing learning interventions using best practice methods, including digital solutions, to create efficient and effective learning experience.
- Learning Evaluation: Defines, measures and interprets learning impact in relation to the organisation’s performance objectives or expectations using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Learning Technologies: Expert in Learning Technology best practice to choose and implement appropriate technologies to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
- Learning Needs Analysis / Training Needs Analysis: Determines the gap between the existing skills, knowledge and abilities and those desired for a particular role or activity.
- Blended Learning: Combines online educational materials and interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods.
- Content Curation: Gathers, verifies and adds meaning to content to serve a defined objective using digital tools and manual techniques.
- Stakeholder Management: Organises, monitors and improves relationships with stakeholders.
