The Scope
The Delivery Lead is accountable for delivery roadmap for BT Wholesale, ensuring alignment with transformation initiatives and business objectives to deliver improved commercial and customer outcomes.
This role leads complex programmes, driving integration across Transformation, Product and Customer Experience.
What you’ll be doing
Strategic Delivery & Roadmapping: Taking ownership of and evolving the delivery roadmap for BT Wholesale, ensuring alignment with Business-wide strategic priorities and market demands to deliver improved customer experiences. Monitors and reports on roadmap progress, dependencies, and risks to Wholesale LT and other senior stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborating closely with other functions to ensure delivery executions. Facilitates integration and elevation of Wholesale delivery plans within Business Transformation, Product, and Customer Experience. Act as a key interface between technical delivery and other stakeholders, translating requirements and managing expectations.
Programme & Project Leadership: Ensuring delivery excellence through structured governance, milestone tracking, and proactive issue resolution, driving continuous improvement across cross-functional product and project teams.
Transformation & Change Leadership: Championing transformation initiatives focused improving customer experience, the use of automation and process improvement, and changing ways of working / tooling.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, partners, and customers. Able to provide clear, consistent communication on delivery status, risks, and strategic alignment to a broad set of senior stakeholders.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
- Extensive experience in telecom delivery, programme management, and transformation leadership.
- Strong understanding of wholesale telecom products, infrastructure, and service lifecycle.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Expertise in delivery roadmapping, strategic planning, and portfolio governance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
