The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
The Scope
This role is pivotal to BT Security’s ambition to grow its Secure Connectivity portfolio and strengthen BT’s position in the UK market. You’ll support the delivery of innovative managed security services that can be sold standalone or integrated with connectivity solutions, supporting BT Security’s goal of generating £1bn in revenue by 2030.
This is a hands-on role that influences BT’s roadmap for business customers, drives product launches, and ensures alignment with BT’s broader security strategy.
What you’ll be doing
Support the delivery of Secure Connectivity product launches and manage lifecycle activities on time and within budget.
Monitor product performance, revenue and margin targets; contribute to annual planning and secure funding.
Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement through product sprints and releases.
Produce product documentation and requirements; support development of analytics tools and dashboards.
Manage vendor relationships and integrate innovative features to enhance BT services.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimise processes and improve customer and sales journeys.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
Previous product management experience, including supporting launches and managing products in-life.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends and use Excel for basic reporting and planning.
Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly and confidently to different audiences.
Ability to ensure product deliverables are met in line with target timescales, budget and quality indicators.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Interest in learning about the UK Security Market, ideally with some exposure to Telco or Managed Service Provider environments.
