Working model: 3/2 hybrid working plus occasional travel

Why this job matters
As a Senior Contract Manager, you’ll take the lead on high-impact contracts for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Home Office—two of the UK government’s largest departments and among BT’s most significant customers.
You’ll play a key role in safeguarding contract value, managing risk, ensuring the delivery of contractual commitments, and building strong relationships. You’ll also lead a small team across these major managed contracts.
What you’ll be doing
• Leading a contract management team of 5 responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the MoJ and Home Office contracts.
• Shaping and influencing the strategic direction and financial performance of the contracts.
• Managing senior stakeholder relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for all contractual and commercial matters.
• Driving additional value through effective change management and continuous improvement.

• Extensive experience in contract management with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
• Solid knowledge of governance and compliance methods.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a strategic mindset.
• People management capability, whether through direct people management experience, or the desire to lead a team and experience of coaching others.
