The UK Government is devolving more powers to Mayoral authorities and our place-based strategy focuses on tailoring public services to the specific needs of local communities, encourages collaboration between central and local governments and seeks to address regional disparities and improve outcomes by considering local characteristics. Through this strategy it will Improve efficiency and effectiveness of public services, address social, economic, and health inequalities, empower local communities to participate in decision-making and foster economic growth and resilience in underserved areas.
Your role will be instrumental in continue to drive sales in the established Health strategy, co-create the strategy for Local Government, Education and Housing with commercial/proposition and drive the sales in the region.
What you’ll be doing
- Strategic Planning – Develop and execute account development plans, drive growth, self-generate new opportunities, and respond to leads effectively.
- Market & Segment Insight – Identify target segments, trends, and customer problem statements, aligning BT’s technology propositions to sector needs.
- Relationship Management – Build strong, trusted relationships with C-suite and key stakeholders across Health & Social Care, acting as a strategic advisor.
- Solution Selling – Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to create tailored solutions and guide customers through the end-to-end buying journey.
- Contract Negotiation & Defence – Lead negotiations and renewals, ensuring alignment with BT’s commercial priorities and risk frameworks.
- Thought Leadership – Represent BT at industry events, contribute sector insight, and position yourself as a credible authority in Health & Social Care.
- Client Satisfaction & Issue Ownership – Serve as the point of contact for billing and service concerns, ensuring positive customer outcomes and promoter-level satisfaction.
- P&L Ownership – Manage the financial performance of your accounts, ensuring accurate billing, correct tariffing, and strong commercial control.

Flexible working
