This job role is based in London. Hybrid (4 days office based & 1 day remote). Mon-Fri 37.5. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
What you’ll be doing
- Leads the development, documentation and implementation of medium and large-scale projects/programmes and change initiatives in line with organisational policies and strategies, defining and maintaining realistic project plans and monitoring progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.
- Leads the changes control procedures and validates that project work packages are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets, ensuring quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedures, and identifying, assessing, and handling risks to the success of the project.
- Develops trusted relationships across the business to facilitate open dialogue and identify the communication needs of each stakeholder group, ensuring engagement and obtaining formal agreement from relevant stakeholders on scope, requirements, and delivery.
- Promotes the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, staying abreast of external best practices and leading efforts for continuous improvement following project reviews.
- Provides effective leadership to the project team, taking appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances, and delivers informal mentoring to individuals.

What we'd like to see on your CV
- Proven track record of leading large scale and complex change delivery programmes, into the government security sector.
- Experience in leading projects of significant scale &/or complexity.
- You've showcased expertise on a project or a specific piece of work or led a project outside of the core areas of your skill.
- You've collaborated on a new project with a recognised expert.
- You've led a cost reduction effort.
