Why this job matters?

 

The Wholesale Model lead will ensure that the post-divestment business and negotiations related to BAU services are effectively managed:

  • in BT’s and its customer’s best interest

  • within the contract policies defined between Retelit and BT

  • with Risk Management central to all decisions and processes

  • with cost savings and transformation in mind

  • while handling any service issues with the relevant teams

 


 

What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities:

 

  • Work closely with Retelit to ensure timely delivery of services and accurate billing

  • Negotiate discounts, credits, and business opportunities with Retelit that benefit BT

  • Professionally challenge Retelit on any discrepancies or errors

  • Collaborate with Retelit and internal stakeholders to ensure service continuity

  • Partner with BT Finance to ensure timely receipt and accurate processing of Retelit invoices

  • Drive improvements and efficiencies in business processes impacting the Wholesale Model

  • Support sales of BT services to Retelit, in addition to managing the Wholesale Model where BT purchases from Retelit

  • Report on the status and progress of the Wholesale Model to BT stakeholders

  • Act as the escalation point for Wholesale Model issues, ensuring timely resolution to prevent delays or customer impact

  • Proactively report risks related to the Wholesale Model to internal BT stakeholders, including Country/Regional Operational Managers

  • Support compliance with financial controls related to the Wholesale Model

  • Assist with internal and external audits of the Wholesale Model and conduct audits on services provided by Retelit

  • Coordinate specialist support for service or customer implementations as needed

  • Ensure the Wholesale Model is covered under Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes in collaboration with in-region stakeholders

  • Facilitate and support regulatory compliance (telecom, data, cybersecurity) for the Wholesale Model

  • Communicate changes or updates to the Wholesale Model through appropriate channels

  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and ROM to apply best practices from other supplier contracts to the Wholesale Model

  • Support Legal and Procurement in drafting future supplier contracts with Retelit as required
