The Risk Insights and Reporting Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the global procurement and supply chain network, translating complex supply chain and operational risk data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior leadership, the Board, and other key stakeholders. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality reports, executive briefings, and governance papers that inform strategic decision-making and ensure transparency across the organization’s risk landscape. This role plays a critical part in ensuring business continuity, supplier resilience, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
With a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and enterprise risk and data analytics, the role will synthesize risk data, identify emerging trends, and craft narratives that support resilience, compliance, and long-term value creation. It will also act as a key liaison between risk owners and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity, and confidence in the organisation’s risk posture.
What you’ll be doing
- Risk Insights and Management: Identify and assess risks across procurement and supply chain activities, including geopolitical, financial, operational, and ESG-related exposures, while developing supplier risk profiles by category and region. Monitor global supply chain disruptions—such as natural disasters, trade restrictions, and cyber threats—and work across procurement teams to implement contingency and alternative sourcing strategies. Transform complex risk data into actionable insights, support strategic decision-making and strengthen governance across the global procurement chain.
- Data Analysis: Analyse procurement and supplier data to identify risks and assess risk exposure across categories, regions, and suppliers.
- Reporting to Executive, Board-Level and key stakeholders: Develop, write, and deliver high-quality risk reports, dashboards, and briefing materials tailored for the C-suite, Board and key stakeholders ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic relevance.
- Narrative & Paper Writing: Craft compelling narratives and governance papers that clearly articulate risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and emerging trends.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Risk, Legal, Procurement, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience and other key stakeholders to gather inputs, manage risks, validate data, and ensure alignment in messaging and reporting.
- Governance Support: Support risk governance forums by preparing materials, coordinating inputs, and ensuring timely delivery of reports and updates.
- Trend Monitoring & Foresight:Monitor internal and external risk signals, regulatory developments, and supply chain disruptions to inform forward-looking reporting.
- Quality Assurance & Consistency: Ensure accuracy of data and information, consistency in tone, format, and messaging across all executive-facing documents, maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency, clarity, and impact.
You'll have the following skills and experience
- Experience in risk management, supply chain, governance, or executive reporting roles
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and managing procurement risks, delivering high-quality risk insights, and producing clear, impactful board papers and executive briefings
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk, enterprise risk frameworks, and corporate governance
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments, ideally within global or matrixed organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Skilled in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with risk management systems and reporting processes
