We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join Business Digital Solutions team which is part of our B2B part of our business. Our Enterprise Architects build relationships across all levels of an organisation and help solve our customer’s complex challenges by creating innovative business and/or digital enterprise solutions. 


Our Enterprise Architects are trusted advisors to our customers, often working and driving value on large transformation programmes. Helping our customers achieve their vision, it’ll be the role holder’s job to provide key technology architecture solution leadership and expertise, throughout all stages of the Digital Solutions engagement life cycle. Working to build cutting edge, future proofed solutions, the role holder will support our specific customer within one of our London Borough Government sector every step of the way to develop best in class solutions.

London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Gosforth, Belfast, Glasgow

What you’ll be doing

  • Captures detailed customer technical requirements and translation to detailed solution design in accordance with design methodologies whilst driving consistency in architecture and technical process, with the aim of reducing costs and increasing productivity
  • Manages the review and validation processes for both new developments and in-life products and services, ensuring full integration across all aspects, considering the broad impact of solutions on the product roadmap.
  • Manages customer solution design engagement and statement of work creation, including any 3rd party deliverables. Facilitating the development of strong customer relationships at the senior level through providing specialist service design expertise, and influencing the customer's service strategy and operational decisions.
  • Resolves complex solution and service issues, leads root cause analysis, troubleshooting and escalation.
  • Pursues the identification of potential risks and the implementation of controls and mitigations, ensuring compliance with relevant industry and company policies.

Skill You'll need

  • Broad and recognised set of knowledge across the full spectrum of Enterprise Architecture, including things like: Leadership & Ownership of Digital Solutions, Cloud Transformation, I.T. & Network Transformation, Digital Transformations, Technology Architecture tools and techniques and Technology Domain Knowledge & Experience.
  • In depth product development and market knowledge across multiple technology domains.  An ability to drive solutions based on the customer requirements and BTs products and propositions.
  • Proven background in developing a pipeline in relation to enterprise and business architecture engagements for customers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to provide leadership, establishing enterprise-wide standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of business analysis/architecture tools and techniques, as well as knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent method awareness and real-world experience.
