We are looking for a talented and motivated 2nd Line IT Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Business Managed Services (BMS) team. In this role, you will provide expert second-line support and play a key part in the delivery and maintenance of our cloud, infrastructure, and end-user computing services. You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled technical professionals, contributing to the smooth operation and continual improvement of our services.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide 24x7 2nd line support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and issues.
  • Take ownership of your performance, including mandatory training and compliance.
  • Excel under pressure, delivering high-quality results even in challenging situations.
  • Plan and execute complex changes to ensure sustained service across various products and solutions.
  • Share technical knowledge across BMS through continuous improvement processes and coaching.
  • Stay updated on changes to existing, emerging, and new technologies to meet business and customer objective
  • Retoring normal service to the user as quicly as possible with technical ability with offering general guidance and advice to users and support staff on shift,

Skills we would like to see from you

  • Excellent 2nd line IT/technical support experience
  • General experience of supporting a broad range of applications including Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, Cloud, Citrix, Azure, AWS, VMWare & Nutanix
  • Must be able to obtain SC & NPPV security clearances
  • Understanding of the workings of a Service Desk and ITIL aligned processes  
  • Effective listening skills and excellent attention to detail
