What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, creating and testing brand new concepts in security software for customers across the globe.   
  • Research cutting edge software solutions across a variety of projects and develop software systems and automation.  
  • Working with specialists in an area to innovate the world of security products.
  • Using Agile ways of working, creating everything from proofs of concept to national and international scale solutions utilising DevOps techniques

You'll need:  

  • At least a 2.2 degree in a STEM subject 
  • Experience in coding, ideally with at least one of Python, C++, Objective–C, Java, C#, JavaScript or C. If you’re not proficient, we’ll help with a comprehensive suite of training and provide support from our inclusive teams to help you develop.
  • A passion to solve problems with technology - anything from mobile apps to large data processing or cloud systems.
  • A drive to learn new skills through hands-on experience. 
  • The nature of our work means you will require a Security (DV) clearance, so we will undertake checks before starting the role with us. Don’t worry a member of the Early Careers Team will talk you through this.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels).

An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance.

The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.
