Why this job matters

 

The Commercial Partner is a key commercial role supporting a sub channel of SMB, partnering closely with the channels Sales Director. It plays an important part in weekly trading, tracking volumes and value metrics, delivering discrete elements of the commercial strategy, and helping the sales team respond to issues that affect results and pay plan outcomes

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Partnering sales leaders and the wider commercial team to agree priorities and support delivery of commercial plans.
  • Reviewing weekly trading performance, analysing complex data sets, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Presenting findings clearly to senior stakeholders and the sales team, supporting trading governance and outlook discussions.
  • Supporting the adjudication and management of pay plan-related matters, while helping resolve issues through the right internal contacts.
  • Leading discrete programmes and contributing to continuous improvement across commercial processes.

What we would like to see on your CV

 

  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to work with complex, non-reconciling data sets.
  • Stakeholder management, commercial planning, and project management experience.
  • Confidence presenting data and insight to senior directors and sales teams.
  • Commercial acumen, including the ability to understand market trends, improve performance, and support trading decisions.
  • A background in data with some commercial, sales, or finance experience
