About this role


The Digital Content Manager is responsible defining the content strategy and feature strategy for; helping to define and prioritise the content production and feature development backlogs to deliver a world class user experience. 


Working closely with the Head of Digital & Content, the Content Manager will be fully responsible for all content and features on and the delivery of our key customer outcomes of improved user satisfaction, reduced unnecessary customer contact, increased website traffic, increased lead generation and improving job applicant volume & quality across 3 key user missions (fibre availability, help & support and careers)


The Content Manager will design and deliver new, and upscale existing, content & features to achieve our user outcomes and drive improvements in key metrics around those key user missions. Making use of a myriad of content mediums and building the right user narrative, the Content Manager will pick the right content for the right experience, leading to a positive user outcome.

You'll have the following responsibilities


  • Responsible for defining the content and feature strategy for with approval from the Head of Digital & Content
  • Responsible for defining and delivering the content & feature roadmap in conjunction with the Technical product owner
  • Responsible for reporting on the state and status of the content and feature roadmap with internal stakeholder and senior leadership
  • Responsible for writing clear briefs for all content and feature production for our Brand Studio and Technical Product Owner, including clear sketches of what is required to achieve our user outcomes
  • Responsible for prioritisation and delivery of the content and feature development backlogs to help deliver our overall roadmap and strategy
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting on our key metrics to understanding if we’re achieving our objectives
  • Responsible for identifying and create new experiments and use testing opportunities to ensure we continuously learn and improve our experiences


You'll have the following skills and experience 


  • Deep knowledge of effective content strategies used to deliver improvements in user experiences 
  • Strong project management experience, with a history of driving multiple projects through to delivery and demonstrating impact to the business
  • Thought leader and strong insight on content best practice 
  • Experience of working with cross functional teams to deliver a single outcome or objective
  • Knowledge of agency creative processes and ability to manage the creative process independently and to extremely high quality is required
  • Skilled in the use of content management systems to deliver world class content experiences 
  • Experience in experimentation design and execution for both content or features
  • Excellent analytic skills, specifically with digital analytic tools such as SiteImprove or Google Analytics
