Why this job matters

 

As a Reporting Manager, you will be a member of the Reporting and PMO Tower within the CoE Team. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated individual to lead a team of developers, technically sound professionals who produce and support the complex daily / weekly and monthly reports and deliver to our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and database management. 

What you’ll be doing

 

As a Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technically sound professionals who are creating, maintaining, and optimizing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design efficient data workflows, and ensure data accuracy. 

•    Develop and maintain complex reports using Excel, Power Query, and Power Automate.
•    Extract and manipulate data from SQL databases and Access.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
•    Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
•    Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards using QlikView and Qlik Sense.
•    Craft and execute queries to retrieve data upon request.
•    Present information through visually appealing reports and visualizations.
•    Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports.
•    Presenting projects to stakeholders and providing continuous support based on feedback 
•    Expected to have a proactive problem-solving approach to suggest observed inefficiencies in the current process flows.

Skills Required for the Job

Specific skills and experience required:


•    Strong analytical and logical mindset
•    Team management skills are must, you will be required to lead, manage and monitor a team of technical professionals and align them with you to achieve BT’s objectives
•    It is desirable to have basic knowledge about MySQL DB and using MySQL workbench and GCP products
•    Experience in using Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables), VBA , Power Query and other MS office tools is must.
•    Experience in Power Query and Power Automate for data transformation and automation and SharePoint design and development is desirable. 
•    Expected to be comfortable using data elements for analysis from various sources.
•    Good to have good hands-on exposure in QlikSense application’s end to end solution designing, data modelling, application designing & development
•    Must possess Excellent communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
•    Ability to demonstrate consistent performance above expectations and a track record for timely delivery
