Customer Solution Design Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Are you a passionate technical architect with focus on Cloud Infrastructure? Our Technical Design Team is on the front line of helping customers succeed using Multi Cloud and Hybrid Cloud. We leverage our hands-on experiences with a partner ecosystem to propose transformational solutions to BT’s global customers. This is not a sales role. It is an individual with relevant technical expertise and design hands-on, coupled with business acumen, and passion for continued knowledge acquisition. 

What you’ll be doing

As a key member of a global team, provide overall support to technical solutions within the Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure technology domains.  

• Own the technical solution design. 

• Provide technical consultancy.  

• Propose secure, reliable, and scalable designs that meet the BT product offering. 

• Implementation. 

• Work together with Product Managers in product enhancements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to drive technical discussions with senior personnel. Prior technical consulting experience is a plus. 
• Vertical knowledge of technology solutions and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new emerging technologies and methodologies. 
• 5+ years of technical design experience in one of the following areas: Cisco DC portfolio including ACI/NXOS, Juniper DC portfolio.  
• 2+ years of technical design experience in one of the following areas is a benefit: Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Multi Cloud, Private Cloud, containers, Cloud security, automation, hyperconverged, CNF, load balancing. 
• Industry certifications preferred: Broadcom/VMware, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Juniper, F5, Checkpoint, Nutanix.
• Excellent English both verbal and written.
