Contract Controller - Global Customers

Why this role matters?

• Challenging/ questioning the inappropriate/ wrong charge to P&L
• Ensuring correct BU reporting and planning exercise

     
Key responsibilities:
 

• Management and control of Contract P&L and Balance Sheet consolidation and Analysis 
• Timely delivery of financial results for BU with precise commentary on contract performance
• Build budget and forecast by connecting with stakeholders 
• Support standardization projects by fulfilling all data requirements
• Support controls, compliance and audit requirements
• Engagement with Senior Finance team members 

 
Functional Knowledge: 
 

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial standards
• Ability to understand end to end processes and systems
• Ability to do analytics and Planning work 

 
Client and Stakeholder Management
 

• Strong stakeholder management required with BU finance teams (including regular interaction at FC level)
• Effective communication skills

Experience and Professional Qualifications

• Typically, degree level or equivalent 
• Fully qualified accountant / Further qualification to support specialism (.e.g. CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate or equivalent) or exceptionally equivalent experience in lieu of qualification 
• Significant PQE
