•Provide accurate and timely advice on complex employee relations matters, balancing legal, policy, and commercial considerations.
•Identify trends and recommend preventative actions across your specialist hub to improve processes and mitigate risk.
•Escalate issues through appropriate channels, adhering to standard operating procedures and governance.
•Deliver services in line with policies, procedures, and SLAs, maintaining accurate case records in the case management system.
•Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across People & HR Services, Legal, Ethics, and business units to support people priorities.
•Act as a point of escalation and coach for less experienced colleagues within People Relations and People & Culture teams.
•Lead or contribute to ER-related training and projects focused on policy, process, or product improvements.
•Stay current on employment law, case outcomes, and internal people data to guide decision-making and contribute insights to continuous improvement.

•Proven experience managing complex and high-risk ER cases end-to-end, applying strategic thinking and sound judgment at every stage.
•Strong knowledge of Employment Law, ACAS Code of Practice, and experience delivering ER support in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
•Skilled at using data and insights to inform case handling, identify trends, and drive preventative action.
•Confident delivering ER-related training to all employee levels, including senior leaders.
•Track record of driving continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and contributing to policy and process enhancements.
•Effective communicator and influencer with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively across teams, with stakeholders, and with trade unions.
•Experience with Employment Tribunals and unionised environments.
•Proficient in case management systems and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
