Finance Business Partner –Transformation

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to become our Finance Business Partner – Transformation, based in either London, Bristol, or Birmingham.

This role is pivotal in supporting the strategic business transformation agenda over the medium term and to drive year-over-year EBITDA growth in a challenging macro environment.

You will serve as a critical business partner to the Transformation program managers, overseeing the review, insights, and reporting of transformation finances, as well as the delivery of key Transformation programs across BT Business.

You'll have the following responsibilities.

  • Partnering with Transformation program director to deliver approximately £300 million in Cost Transformation and achieve year-over-year incremental revenue goals.
  • Collaborating across functions to synchronise transformation objectives and performance with channel profit and loss benefits.
  • Serving as the primary finance liaison for top programs across the entire business, all of which are endorsed at the senior leadership team level.
  • Ensuring alignment of investment priorities, correct prioritisation, and fostering appropriate returns on investment.
  • Leading simplification efforts within the business, managing intricate relationships across the entire group.
  • Overseeing key business cases led by the Chief Operating Officer, which inherently span the entire business.
  • Spearheading the enhancement of work practices and processes through digital means.

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • A certified accountant (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with exceptional SAP knowledge and proficiency.
  • Capable of influencing a diverse group of senior financial and non-financial stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrates consistent application of advanced knowledge and understanding of company financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Possesses the ability for bold and assured thinking, challenging the status quo where necessary.
  • Proficient in communication, adept at translating complex financial outcomes to both senior financial and non-financial stakeholders through oral and written presentations (PowerPoint). Skilled in tailoring messages to specific audiences, distilling key information without compromising necessary detail.
  • Exhibits advanced financial modelling skills (Excel), proficient in constructing and manipulating detailed models to derive relevant outputs and metrics.
  • Responsible in the absence of Senior Finance Manager & Financial Director for critical meetings with FD’s, CFO, MD’s & CEO
