About this role

Hybrid role working out of one of our UK Digital Hubs (3 days in the office, 2 wherever).

You will be a key member of the Digital Trading and Operations team responsible for delivering and growing digital sales for BT Broadband, Networking and Voice products to Business customers.


You'll have the following responsibilities

Direct report for the Principal: responsibility for Trading and Operations for :

  • Networking and Voice products - SME segment (6-250 employees)with accountability for driving sales growth via digital marketing, onsite merchandising, conversion rate optimisation and commercial propositions for Networking and Voice products (both new and existing customers)
  • Work with the trading and reporting teams to understand the key insights needed to build and deliver sales forecasts for each product category
  • Report on performance against these forecasts and all major KPI’s in weekly  Trading meetings
  • Partner closely with the marketing functions setting out clear requirements from each marketing channel and from CRM to deliver on sales targets, giving as much insight and detail as possible in order to help drive maximum ROI from marketing investment. 
  • Own SEO performance and content strategy roadmap for products & services
  • Focus on both online sales performance and lead generation activity dependant on product
  • Partner closely with commercial and propositions teams to optimise 4 Ps for digital sales channel in each product category.
  • Partner closely with commercial and propositions teams to maximize the potential of tactical offers and new product launches
  • Work closely alongside the digital product teams in sales and service to help ensure that sales and service web site journeys are optimised to maximise conversion of traffic and to maximise upsell and retention of existing customers.
  • Work closely with the digital product, content and design teams to continuously improve results from all key landing pages using AB testing to drive optimisation.


You'll have the following skills & experience

  • E-Commerce Trading and Merchandising - Digital experience is an absolute must  - within a telco or utilities environment would be an added bonus
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Experience of building reports and delivering meaningful insights from adobe Analytics and Google Analytics packages
  • Experience of building and running AB tests through Adobe Test and Target
  • B2B experience is an added advantage
