As a member of the Operational Performance team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial and operational performance through actionable data insights, metrics, and KPIs. Your work will directly impact our customer service department, aiding in the continual development and improvement of our services.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
You'll be at the forefront of producing data and visualisation products for the Director and each functional area within customer service. A significant aspect of your role will involve communicating and visualising data in an engaging manner to drive sound decision-making, actions, and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing the visualisation and visual analytics strategy for the Data Reporting & Analysis Team.
- Managing relationships and deliveries from the Business Insights Team, particularly regarding Tableau.
- Providing detailed and quality requirements for additions and improvements to the Measure Marketplace (MMP).
- Seeking opportunities to work with the wider Business Data Team to promote the MMP and empower individuals to use it.
- Managing a team of Data Professionals, ensuring they have access to relevant information and training to keep skills aligned with changing technologies.
What you'll bring
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficient in (Google SQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle PL/SQL).
- Proficient in data visualisation (Pablo, QLIK)
- Understanding of data modelling techniques.
- Knowledge of BT Business Products and Services.
- Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to create clear delivery plans.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Oracle APEX, service-oriented platforms (SOAP and ReSTful APIs), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience
We're looking for candidates who have experience working with effective data applications, contractors on commercial terms, and have a high awareness of BT’s regulatory environment. Experience in identifying and mitigating data quality issues and building strong data delivery plans is also required.
