Please note that this is a Hybrid working role which can be based out of either of our main offices in London, Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester

About the Role

You will lead a team of three and be accountable to create digital solutions which helps customers to address their pain points/challenges. 


You'll work with stakeholders across BT to implement initiatives in line with M&B objectives. The person will be the recognised expert in the business who understands their propositions and services how it works today and what the evolution could look like for the future.


This is a highly visible and influential role which brings together market and customer insight, P&L objectives to create a compelling, customer-centric set of propositions that is strategic and tactical. For example, the role holder will lead the business cases to underpin these propositions whilst also having ownership of continually evaluating and evolving propositions based on new evidence or customer trends. You'll drive the Go To Market and commercial realisation of the Proposition benefits for BT Media & Broadcast. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of people working on propositions, go-to-market and customer experience
  • Conduct insight and analysis to develop propositions which will create the competitive differentiation in the Media & Broadcast market (or where our props are available)
  • To lead the development of differentiated propositions to the target markets based on the insights and requirements with defined benefits, costs and value to BT Media & Broadcast
  • Accountable for developing the proposition bringing in relevant functions/roles required
  • Ensure key stakeholders are engaged and the voice of the customer and segment requirements are understood
  • Develops Go To Market Plan for the proposition
  • Create the GTM brief and collateral input into marketing and sales
  • When required, manage in-life the propositions and ensure they are still fit for the market and customer needs. Develop changes or recommend withdrawal of the proposition
  • Lead on the customer / user experience of all product/propositions development to ensure consistency of experience across M&B’s portfolio.

Skills and Experience

  • Directly managed a team or individual
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating with and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience launching solutions and propositions to the B2B market with a Media & Broadcast focus
  • Roadmap and GTM development and execution
  • Analytical and problem solving capability
  • Have Media & Broadcast / Telecoms market knowledge (desirable)
  • Knowledge of how to obtain and interpret customer and market insight
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Proven experience in propositions, marketing and/or commercial
  • Proven track record in propositions or product delivery.
