Full time, 3 days a week together out of either our Manchester or London Digital Hub (flexible 2 days remote wherever).

What I'll be doing – your accountabilities?
- Build cutting edge interactive mapping visualisations based on large datasets.
- Collect geospatial data from multiple sources and identify the insights to draw a conclusion.
- Determine how to visualize the data, ensuring it is compelling, digestible and memorable.
- Represent the data team to build client and stakeholder relationships and requests for work.
- Pitching ideas, proposals and developing client relationships.
- Clearly and confidently present complex analytical results in a clear and simple manner to key stakeholders and clients.
- Follow best engineering practices when working on technical solutions, e.g. making sure important technical information is documented in a clean and clear manner.
- Designs solutions that are scalable, adaptable & cost effective in line with business needs and manage the integration of the design.
- Provides in-life support for issues related to their specific solution.
Capabilities required for the job
- Expertise in data analysis and data visualisation.
- Experience with Javascript visualisation libraries (D3JS, Mapbox, ESRI javascript, Carto, Kepler, Leaflet, Openlayers...)
- Working knowledge of SQL in a cloud environment.
- Experience of using geospatial analytics for applications in one or more of the transport, retail, financial, health or sustainability sectors is a plus.
- Good knowledge of statistic, quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques.
- At least one programming language (e.g. Python, R).
- Excellent problem solver with real curiosity and drive.
- Commercially aware, Support the commercial team to help win work by leading key pieces of analysis.
- Ability to work well with a team, to collaborate on ideas and contribute collectively for a common goal.
- Strong technical communication skills (meaning able to simplify technical concepts and outcomes and be comfortable at communicating such concepts and outcomes verbally and in writing to different audiences and stakeholders).
