Why this job matters
As the Field Channel Marketing Professional you will use process implementation and research capabilities that support BT Group's marketing strategy, delivering intelligence, innovative research and segmentation as well as best in practice marketing tools, processes and technologies. You will be working on a segment-specific activities, understanding our sales enablement requirements and developing content that will help drive brilliant results. In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio and Partner, Commercial, Sales and other marketing specialists to create compelling channel marketing activities. This will include communications, events and initiatives that drive results and upsell our portfolio to help improve ROI.
What you'll be doing
- Work with Commercial and Propositions to define and deliver the Field Channel marketing plans. The delivery of channel marketing activities will be part of this, improving Field customer growth by creating customer meetings, partner days, events and campaign toolkits. Other channel marketing activities you will do include supporting new proposition launches and promotions, and helping the Field Sales team create and close sales opportunities.
- Develop and deliver content for channel marketing campaigns, working cross-functionally with wider marketing teams to deliver the channel marketing plan. Use KPIs to optimise activity.
- Manage the Field Sales toolkit requests working closely with the Partnerships and Portfolio team.
- Day-to-day management of the sales portal for the Field Sales team, working with Commercial and Propositions to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
- Brief agencies and in-house teams for the creation of content, as well as pipeline tracking and won revenue tracing programmes.

What we expect to see on your CV
- Previous experience in a B2B role, preferably within a marketing team.
- Experience in customer centric product content creation.
- Have worked with a high performing sales team, either supporting or partnering.
- Demonstrable commercial expertise encompassing the marketing lifecycle management.
- Ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
