The Wholesale Sales function partners with and delivers capability to our biggest customers (across the UK and beyond), who in turn deliver communication services to their customers. The Commercial Roaming Manager will help the team stay on track with solid processes, smart insights, and the right tools to hit our commercial goals. That includes keeping roaming traffic running smoothly, ensuring a great customer experience, and working closely with trusted suppliers.

 

The Commercial Roaming Manager will regularly report on performance, turning complex data into clear, useful insights. You’ll also collaborate across teams to make sure updates are delivered accurately and communicated effectively.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Lead steering reviews and prepare traffic distribution change requests, maintaining records on wholesale roaming traffic status.
  • Monitor steering and rate changes to mitigate cost exposure and make volume forecasts to support network planning. 
  • Provide monthly system generated rates, accruals, and budget forecasts, aligned internally on cash outlook.
  • Drive internal development, focusing on technical and reporting capabilities whilst collaborating with suppliers to develop traffic management solutions in line with evolving reporting insights. 
  • Support the monthly management of the UK Origin Based Rating and pricing for Global Wholesale Voice team.

What We Would Like to See on Your CV

 

  • Proven ability to generate insights from complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and support strategic decision-making through analytics and Business Intelligence. 
  • Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of profitability drivers, performance monitoring, and trend analysis to inform business strategy.
  • Highly organised to confidently present with clear communication to effectively engage stakeholders. 
  • Adept at identifying growth and driving innovation through new business models and ways of working whilst evaluating market trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
  • Industry experience within roaming is highly desirable.

Flexible Working
