This role is key to BT's strategy to grow market share through acquisition of large and complex new business with corporate customers in the private sector. Your efforts will directly contribute to BT's business growth and success.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing customer engagement.
  • Understanding business drivers and influencers (technological, political, economic, environmental).
  • Knowledge of the market and competitive landscape to identify ROI opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Formulating planned approaches for acquisition opportunities using insights.
  • Driving profitable revenue and market share through relationship building, influencing, and negotiating.
  • Acting as an ambassador both externally and internally, demonstrating best-in-class sales behaviour and delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Articulating winning sales plans and translating them into tangible sales activities, engaging virtual teams

What we would like to see on your CV

 

  • Experience in Telco or Technology sectors with previous experience of managing a team of high performing acquisition sales specialists
  • Strong vertical industry expertise with an understanding of the economic & industry drivers 
  • Participated in governance of complex bids 
  • Experience working closely with marketing, product, account management, and sales operations to align pipeline with strategic priorities.
  • Strong understanding of telco solutions (e.g., connectivity, IoT, UC, managed services, etc.) and their value in digital transformation agendas
  • Expert in consultative, value-based selling for large and complex acquisition bids

Flexible Working

 

BT have moved to a hybrid working model - you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
