About this role


You’ll be working in BT’s Active Intelligence business, a new unit in BT whose purpose is to create new sources of revenue growth through digital, location and behavioural data insights.  Our team has big growth ambitions centred on building innovative, customer-centric propositions that are underpinned by data and AI.  As our team and product suite grows, this role will lead on our broad range of marketing initiatives.

You'll have the following responsibilities


  • Work with others to define, develop and implement marketing programmes and propositions to drive customer, revenue and business growth.
  • Manage the design, development and implementation of marketing activity within Active Intelligence in support of the overall marketing strategy, plans and objectives.
  • Support with research and analysis, the operational marketing activities that define the propositions/products in the marketing process, the development of new or existing products and/or propositions through the appropriate use of channels 
  • Communicate detail of programmes and translate plans/programmes into detailed objectives.
  • Support the production of business cases for Active Intelligence marketing programmes / campaigns
  • Create and share content via LinkedIn building awareness of Active Intelligence
  • Manage and co-ordinate Active Intelligence content of on BT web properties
  • Create content and landing pages that result in new customer lead generation
  • Identify opportunities for Active Intelligence to attend, exhibit and speak at relevant conferences and events
  • Write/co-ordinate the production of blogs, articles, use cases, white papers, guides, podcasts, webinars and downloadable content to promote Active Intelligence 
  • Monitor the competitive landscape for activity highlighting new opportunity and risk
  • Work with BT’s internal PR team to generate a calendar of regular and ad-hoc stories to enable Active Intelligence to own category 
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners and suppliers, both internal and external. 
  • Measure campaign performance with analytics, continuously optimising campaign and activity to improve lead generation and sales conversion 


You'll have the following skills and experience 


  • In depth experience of marketing disciplines and a good understanding of the whole marketing mix.
  • Awareness of how to grow the engagement, audience and customer base of an B2B startup/scaleup business. 
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to get things done and delivered on time and on budget
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Analytical skills.
  • Relationship management.
  • Ability to develop and sustain close working relationships with key stakeholders in product, business development and external suppliers and partners.
