Why this job matters and what you’ll do:

 

Commercial Trading is at the core of our business, driving optimal commercial outcomes by balancing internal and external insights. This team plays a vital role in navigating a fast-changing environment to deliver our budget P&L ambitions and support strategic investment decisions. This role plays a critical part in helping us ensure our customers’ needs are met in the most commercially optimal way possible.

In this role, you’ll create high-level content for Exco level updates and maintain key trading messages for BT Board-level communications. You’ll have oversight of trading and P&L performance across Mobile, Broadband, TV, PAYG, and Connected products. Your insights will support weekly governance processes and help shape performance narratives. Ultimately, you’ll ensure the right content, actions, and messages are elevated across all key product areas.

 

Skills you’ll need:

 

  • Experience producing exec level content in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take complex information and create clear and understandable outputs
  • Commercially literate to understand the impact of various inputs on our P&L performance
  • Ability to extract data from app-based reporting systems and produce PowerPoint slides
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines of weekly governance
  • Superb stakeholder management skills across all levels
  • Strong communication skills to be able to clearly articulate complex issues, dependencies and influence to gain alignment on recommendations
  • Team player and adaptable to be able to multi-task
