The Scope
Sitting within the Financial Services, After Sales & Security team as part of the wider Consumer organisation. They define and deliver stand out products to ensure momentum and value growth for Consumer within Payments, After Sales, Insurance and Security. They own the strategy, the delivery and in life performance of products.
The Insurance Product Professional will play a key role in documenting, shaping and enhancing the end-to-end customer journey for EE’s insurance products. Working closely with both internal teams and external insurance partners, you’ll ensure our propositions are compliant, competitive, and customer focused. From journey testing and regulatory alignment to performance tracking and insight generation, you’ll help deliver a best-in-class insurance experience across all channels.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the delivery and optimisation of EE’s insurance products across digital, retail and telephony channels, in collaboration with third-party providers
- Mapping out and enhancing the end-to-end customer journey’s, identifying pain points and driving improvements to boost engagement and satisfaction
- Conducting journey testing to ensure functionality, accuracy, and compliance with FCA and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Tracking and reporting on key product KPIs including uptake, claims ratios, churn and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with compliance, legal, and operational teams as well as external partners to maintain regulatory standards and support audits
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to generate actionable insights
- Supporting the execution of Go to Market plans and promotional activity, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and third-party delivery teams
Experience needed to be successful in the role
- Previous experience working within the Insurance, Financial Services or Telecoms sectors
- Demonstratable understanding of or desire to learn FCA regulations and other relevant compliance frameworks
- Proven history of engaging with and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders, including both external third parties and internally at different levels within a fast-paced regulated environment.
- Experience in customer journey mapping, testing and optimisation.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and journey mapping or testing platforms
- An analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret performance data
