We don’t ask for any specific qualifications. You’ll just need a full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points, and be comfortable working outdoors and at heights

As a trainee engineer with Openreach, you’ll play a big part in keeping the UK connected. Our world-class training programme will teach you how to install and fix phone and broadband connections, from traditional copper networks to cutting-edge fibre optic broadband cables.

Your days will be full of variety – you could be working in someone’s home in the morning and at the top of a pole in the afternoon. You’ll need to be great at working in a team and you’ll always have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re making people’s lives that little bit better.
