Why this role matters
This is a critical role with responsibility for all Openreach External Reporting, Transformation Reporting and KPIs, alongside other distinct projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Produce the monthly transformation pack and report it directly into the Group Transformation Director
- Draft the press release and external KPI’s in line with the group requirements / deadlines
- Generate the Openreach Annual Review
- Manage the weekly KPIs that drive the business, and use them to influence the relevant areas of for improvement
- Lead on multiple key projects alongside the monthly / quarterly requirements (Supplier payments, WD3 / WD5 improvements, cross business efficiencies, SAP / SAC integration
- Being a key player as we continue our migration to SAP, working with the project team to drive standardisation and efficiency in producing reporting
The skills you'll need
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- A background in financial reporting, analysis, consolidations and systems.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects, working to tight deadlines.
- Experience of mitigating risks, implementing best practice and following strict governance procedures.
- Experience of positively influencing business performance by using data, commentary and analysis to inform decision making.
- Sets agendas, identifies opportunities and promotes the highest standards of best practice and provides insight on finance work area(s) or specialism.
